The Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy" is Finally Re-Releasing

You'd be hard pressed to find a sneaker that's as iconic as the Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy." First released back in 2012 as part of Nike‘s All-Star collection, this is, no doubt, one of the most sought-after sneakers in all of Swoosh history - and here's why.

When the "Galaxy" first released eleven years ago, it was one of the first shoes that people queued days and days for. In fact, when the official release date was announced back then, some sneakerheads started queuing at stores two weeks before it launched just to get their hands on a pair. At one point, some retailers even had over 600 people outside, forcing the authorities to get involved to try and control the mad situation.

Featuring a foam shell construction, the lateral and medial sidewalls are decorated with an outer space design that's quite literally out of this world. Oversized pull tabs make their way to the tongue and heel for a rugged vibe, and underfoot, you'll find the ever-popular glow-in-the-dark outsole. The Foamposite One is then finished with a special edition hangtag.

While this basketball model has never been as hyped here as it is in the States, the Nike Air Foamposite One "Galaxy" comeback will definitely change that. If you want to own a piece of trainer history, this cosmos-inspired colourway will re-release in Spring 2024. Let us know if you'll be adding this to your rotation, and in related news, the Air Jordan 4 "Military Blue" is also returning next year!
