Back in June, the launch of the Born x Raised x Nike SB Dunk Low was postponed due to the untimely passing of its co-founder Chris “Spanto” Printup. Regarded by many sneakerheads as one of the most hyped Nike collaborations of the year, we finally have an updated date – and it's coming much sooner than expected.
Packed full of cool details, Born x Raised's take on the SB Dunk works on top of a crisp white leather base, and is overlaid by bold blue suede panels throughout. An iridescent Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and this is complemented by the lenticular back badge that changes depending on the angle that you look at it from. The top eyelets and toebox are decorated with special perforations, and the heel is stitched with an exclusive graphic.
But wait, there's more. As the front of the sneaker is embroidered with "One Block At a Time," and the Zoom Air midsole has been retooled with "On the Turf" towards the rear. All of this comes with a pair of custom insoles that nods to LA's Venice Beach, and it's packed with two extra laces to you can make it truly your own.
The Born x Raised x Nike SB Dunk Low is a special sneaker, and one that deserves a spot in every collection. Unfortunately that's not how the industry is built, and it's set to be one of the most exclusive drops of 2023. Hitting shelves on September 28th, make sure you keep it locked at The Edit LDN for your best chance to secure your size. While you're here, you might as well take your best look yet at the TIGHTBOOTH x Nike SB Dunk Low!
