First Look at the Wales Bonner x adidas Samba "Python"

Earlier this season, Grace Wales Bonner and adidas reunited for the Wales Bonner x adidas Samba "Leopard." Released as part of a four-sneaker collection, this wild colourway was the first pair to sell out, and for good reason. Now, it looks like the British designer is taking the exotic aesthetic even further with the never-before-seen Wales Bonner x adidas Samba "Python" – and it quite literally kicks the silhouette up a scale.

Unlike the aforementioned "Leopard" that features a pony hair construction, the "Python" opts for a full leather build instead. The uppers are decorated with an uber-realistic snakeskin-like design, and this texture slithers from the toebox all the way to the oversized tongue.

Underfoot, the rubber midsole is dipped in a chocolatey brown hue, and while Bonner could've just left it there and called it a day, she's decked out the entire interior lining in a sleek satin and painted it in a forest green colour scheme. The Samba is then finished off with a pair of creamy laces that tie everything together.

At this moment in time, the Wales Bonner x adidas Samba "Python" is just a sample, but rumour has it that it'll release sometime in 2024. Let us know what you think of this reptilian rendition, and in related news, Ronnie Fieg's Clarks x adidas Samba is getting ready for Christmas!
