The New Balance 1906R is officially the most hyped sneaker of the year. Earlier this week, Salehe Bembury took to Instagram to tease his own collaboration, and now, Action Bronson has stepped out in the never-before-seen Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R. One of the wildest colourways that we've ever seen, keep reading to find out everything that we know so far.
Working on top of a vibrant yellow mesh base, the rapper/songwriter/chef/wrestler/presenter's take on the Y2K silhouette is accented with red suede panels across the front, and a neon green heel counter around the back. Chunky hiking boot-style laces tie everything together, and all of this sits on top of a blacked out ABZORB midsole that's as comfortable as it gets.
Of course, this isn't Bronson's first project with the Boston sportswear company. Earlier this year, he took on the 990v6 in "Baklava" and "Lapis Lazuli" colourways, both of which sold out literally within seconds.
Not much else is known about the Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R at this moment in time, so make sure you keep it locked at The Edit LDN for all of the latest details as they develop, and while you're here, you might as well get up close with the GANNI x New Balance 1906!
