Over the past two years, New Balance's 650 silhouette has been synonymous with its many Aimé Leon Dore releases. That said, it looks like retro-inspired basketball shoe is about to get another ultra-hyped collab with the upcoming Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 650. Teased on the Chicago streetwear label's official Instagram page, here's what we know so far.
Featuring an off-white colour palette, Joe Freshgoods' take on the 650 is as clean as it gets. Featuring a premium leather and suede construction, it's equipped with woven cotton laces and perforated nylon tongues that are decorated with the "JFG" logo. Additional branding is embroidered across the lateral toe area, and all of this sits on top of a creamy rubber midsole that complements the rest of the colour palette.
Joe Freshgoods is certainly no stranger when it comes to NB collabs. From the 550 to the 9060, the Windy City-based designer also worked on the 993 "Performance Art" collection at the end of last year, which include coveted colourways like the "Arctic Blue," "Powder Pink," and the "Sage."
Set to release very soon, make sure you keep it locked at The Edit LDN for everything that you need to known about the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 650. In related news, the New Balance Warped Runner is going back to the future.
