With similar colour blocking to that of the Air Jordan 4 Green Glow originally released in August 2013,  the Jordan 4 infrared is dressed in a multi-dark grey upper with hints of black on the tongue, mid-panel, and inner linings. Lighter shades of grey appear on the toe box and outsole for slight contrast. Lastly, the silhouette features hints of infrared on the tongue tag and lace system, followed by a white and grey sole unit. More grayscale schemes are utilized for the midsoles with a glossy black mould separating the top half from the bottom whilst the air unit sits below.
