After dropping the Air Humara LX in "Ale Brown," "Light Bone," and "Pink Flash" colourways, Simon Porte Jacquemus and his eponymous label now have their sights set on another iconic Nike sneaker with the Jacquemus x Nike Air Force 1 "White." Following months and months of nothing but teasers and rumours, we're taking our first look yet, and honestly, it's not what we expected.
Images courtesy of eBay user dirty_laces, the French designer's take on the '80s basketball shoe is as sartorially-inspired as you'd expect. Nicknamed the J Force 1, it boasts a premium leather construction with a single stainless steel Swoosh across the lateral and medial sidewalls, just like the aforementioned Air Humara LX.
"Jacquemus" logos adorn the dubrae and heel badge, and underfoot, the Air midsole has been totally reworked from the ground up, with a lace-like ribbon wrapping its way around the entire unit. All of this comes packed in a special edition cardboard box, finalising the design.
Expected to drop alongside a "Black" pair, the Jacquemus x Nike Air Force 1 "White" is set to release within the coming weeks. Let us know what you think of this upcoming collab, and in related news, A-COLD-WALL* has revealed two Nike Air Max Plus colourways!
