Bruce Lee Inspires the CLOT x Nike Cortez "Varsity Maize"

Known as one of the most iconic martial artists in history, Bruce Lee has influenced everything from philosophy to sports, all the way to film and cinema. Now, he's set to be the inspiration behind the upcoming CLOT x Nike Cortez "Varsity Maize." Honouring 50 years since his passing, Edison Chen's second Cortez takes inspiration from the Jeet Kune Do founder's legendary jumpsuit from 1979's 'Game of Death.'

Images courtesy of Who Jung Woo, just like CLOT's first pair, this one sees the 3-in-1 design that can be worn an indoor house slipper, a Kung-Fu shoe, and an all-out sneaker. The inner layer is painted in a vibrant yellow colour scheme, while the sockliner is dipped in a slick black hue that's sure to turn heads wherever you go. Around the back you'll find a drawstring lacing system, and each toggle is decorated with the yin-yang symbol to keep in line with the Nike collaboration's theme.

Set to drop very soon, there's nothing else quite like the CLOT x Nike Cortez "Black/Varsity Maize" out there, so keep it locked at The Edit LDN if you need a pair in your collection this season. While you're here, you might as well take your first look at the Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 "Reverse."
