From the Air Force 1 Low all the way to the Air Jordan 1 High, Nike has dropped some incredible Valentine's Day-themed sneakers over the past couple of decades, but the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low "Valentine’s Day" might just be one of their best ones yet. Inspired by the red thread of fate, this is thought to be an invisible cord around the fingers of those who are destined to meet each other. Cute.
Images courtesy of sneaker insider Sole Sorcerer, the "Valentine's Day" works on top of a creamy satin base and is overlaid by buttery suede panels throughout. A tumbled Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and to really drive the theme home, red thread graphics feature on the tongue tag and insole. All of this then sits on top of a lightly speckled Zoom Air midsole that we're in love with.
A release date for the Nike SB Dunk Low "Valentine’s Day" has yet to be officially confirmed, but expect it to drop sometime around February 14th (duh).
