The MSCHF BWD Might Just Be Their Strangest Sneaker Yet

MSCHF is pretty much a household name at this point. Known globally for their (in)famous designs, the Brooklyn-based art collective were the ones behind the headline-stealing Big Red Boot that dropped earlier this year. With that said, just when you thought that was the pinnacle of weird, they go ahead and reveal the MSCHF BWD - and it might just be their strangest sneaker yet.

While it might just look like a classic skate shoe from a distance, there's so much more to it than meets the eye. Outfitted in white leather and red suede, it sits on top of a chunky blacked-out midsole and is equipped with pull tabs across the tongue and heel for a rugged and ready vibe. However, the entire toebox area has been totally scooped out, revealing that you can actually wear these as a slip-on slide as well. We're not entirely sure how comfortable these would be on the day-to-day, but we don't really care - we want a pair ASAP.

The MSCHF BWD is set to release on April 11th exclusively via the MSCHF app. Let us know what you think of these crazy kicks, and in other sneaker news, a Carhartt WIP x Nike SB collaboration is dropping this year!
