Teddy Santis has been making waves over at New Balance. After being appointed the Creative Director of the Made in USA line last year, hype surrounding the Boston-based brand has been at an all-time-high. Now, after months of leaks and teasers, the New York City style icon has officially unveiled three more Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R colorways - and we're checking them out right now.
Unlike the highly popular 550, the 650R is actually a brand new silhouette that's inspired by basketball models of the past. Here, Santis has worked on top of a breathable mesh base while tonal leather panels wrap around the rest of the upper in gree, navy, and grey color schemes. Off-white hues adorn the laces and midsole for a vintage vibe, while co-branded detailing is finely printed around the heels to remind you that this isn't any old collaboration, it's an ALD collaboration.
Expected to drop on October 6th, the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R collection will sell out fast. Don't worry though, as you'll be able to secure your size with no dramas over on our dedicated New Balance page.
