When it comes to Air Jordan collabs, J Balvin has worked on some of the best ones out there. In 2020, he dropped a rainbow-inspired Air Jordan 1 with canvas panelling, and two years later, he launched an Air Jordan 2 complete with a LED emoji inbuilt into the tongue. And now, we're taking our first look at his third sneaker with the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3. A colourway that has been on our radar for quite some time, here's everything that you need to know.
Images courtesy of Publicist, the Prince of Reggaeton's first Air Jordan 3 boasts a cream leather construction with soft yellow accenting throughout for a vintage vibe. Elephant print adorns the front and back of the shoe, and this is contrasted with a gradient effect that's inspired by sunsets in Medellín, where the Colombian artist was born. Underfoot, the midsole is infused with Nike Air, and it's finished off with an icy blue rubber outsole, finalising the design.
According to our sources, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 is set to release on September 2nd and will be available in full family sizing. Let us know what you think of this upcoming collab, and in related news, the Air Jordan 4 "Frozen Times" has been unveiled!
