Thanks to the ever-popular retro basketball shoe trend, the Air More Uptempo has officially become more popular than ever. Originally released in 1996, it has seen a ton of coveted collaborations since, and now, Nike is adding another one into the mix with the never-before-seen AMBUSH x Nike Air More Uptempo.
Teased by Yoon Ahn herself on Instagram, the South Korean designer captioned the image "Samples looking very good." Crafted predominantly from beige nubuck, Ahn's take on the '90s hardcourt silhouette is contrasted with slick black accents throughout, with the stealthy hue venturing to the Swooshes and chunky Air midsole underfoot.
Elsewhere, the iconic "AIR" branding across the lateral and medial sides is decked out in bright yellow leather. This vibrant shade extends towards the "AMBUSH" logo around the heel as well as the co-branded detailing printed across the insoles. To round it all off, AMBUSH's Uptempo is tied together with 3M laces, finalizing the three-toned design.
