Here's Why You'll Never Be Able to Cop This Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid
Since 2017, Off-White and Nike have been teaming up on some of the most iconic sneakers in history. From the legendary Air Jordan 1 High OG "Chicago" to the Air Force 1 Low "Lemonade," the collaboration is also home to the rarest trainers of all-time. However, no matter how exclusive they get, they'll never come close to the never-before-seen Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Grim Reaper."
Surfacing two years after Virgil Abloh's untimely passing, the "Grim Reaper" was one of the last pairs that he designed. Featuring a premium full leather construction, it's painted in a crisp white colour scheme and decorated with grim reaper graphics throughout. A stitched-on Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and these are contrasted with neon green accents for a look that is sure to turn heads.
A pair of volt-hued laces tie everything together, and this works in tandem with a second lacing system and the ankle strap for the ultimate lockdown fit. Pull tabs don the tongue and heel for an extra rugged aesthetic, and there's no way you can talk about this Air Force 1 without bringing up the special Air midsole that's equipped with a series of rubber spikes throughout. It's weird, it's wild, and it's exactly what you expect from the visionary mind of Abloh.
If you want the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid "Grim Reaper" in your collection, we've got some bad news. According to our sources, only two pairs exist in the world, and there are no plans for these to hit shelves anytime soon. Never say never though, so make sure you keep it locked at The Edit LDN for any potential updates as they develop!
