Without a shadow of a doubt, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Beluga" was, and still is, one of the most iconic Kanye West x adidas sneakers ever made. The first colourway to grace the second generation 350, it was released all the way back in 2015 and is still hyped even all this time later. Over the years, the "Beluga" has spun off into several other versions. From the "Beluga 2.0" to the "Beluga Reflective," that's not even counting all the kids sizes in between. With that said, it looks like Ye could be adding a third iteration into the works with the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Dark Beluga" - and we're getting our closest look yet thanks to these crisp shots from Yankee Kicks.
Bearing a striking resemblance to the OG "Beluga," the alleged "Dark Beluga" switches out the all-grey tones in favour of a stark black colourway that's as stealthy as it gets. A vibrant orange stripe shoots through the side panels complete with "SPLY-350" text, and 3M rope laces tie everything together.
Of course, you can't talk about this YZY without mentioning the blacked out Boost midsole underfoot. Unlike some of the more recent colourways, this unit has been given a slightly see-through finish so you can check out the adidas cushioning technology within. This is very similar to what was done with the legendary "Bred."
Next to nothing else is known about the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Dark Beluga" at this moment in time, but as soon as more release info comes through, The Edit LDN will be the first to let you know. While you're here, be sure to check out our dedicated Yeezy page and grab a grail!
