After checking out the Air Jordan 1 High OG "White Cement" earlier this month, we're now taking our very first look at the Air Jordan 1 High OG "Skyline." Images courtesy of Instagram user @sneakertigger, the inspiration behind this particular colourway is pretty unexpected to say the least, so make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.

When the Air Jordan 1 was introduced back in 1985, it was marketed with a promotional image that saw Michael Jordan in his legendary Jumpman pose against Chicago's skyline at sunset. The soft fade from pink to purple has been etched into the minds of many old school sneakerheads since, so this special edition colorway pays tribute to this scene.

Dropping the usual all-leather construction in favour of a canvas material that's extremely versatile, this is contrasted by stark "Black" accents across the laces, winged basketball emblem, and Nike Swoosh. All of this sits on top of a cream Air midsole that offers up a very vintage vibe.

According to our sources, the Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG "Skyline" will drop on March 18th worldwide. Let us know what you think of this colourway, and while you're here, you might as well check out The Edit LDN's guide to terms every sneakerhead should know!
