Unless you've been living under a rock over the past few months, you'd know that Kanye West and adidas are no longer a thing. While the German sportswear giant has openly expressed that they have no idea what to do with the remaining billions of dollars-worth of Yeezy stock, we're taking our first look at what could potentially be the first non-Ye adidas 500.
Bearing a striking resemblance to the "Blush," this sneaker boasts a mesh, leather, and suede construction and is painted in a clean beige hue. A chunky adiPRENE midsole sits underfoot, and it's lined with a slither of gum which adds a pop of contrast to the mix.
OG sneakerheads will remember that this was actually the first 500 that was teased back in the day, so the fact that it's finally dropping, just under a different brand name, is a relief.
Expected to release sometime in 2023, more pairs are set to be announced very soon, so keep it locked at The Edit LDN for everything that you need to know. Will you still be buying these even without the Yeezy branding? Or do you think it's time to move on? Make sure to let us know your thoughts.
