JJJJound is certainly no stranger when it comes to major collabs. Known mostly for its projects with New Balance, the Montreal-based collective has also worked with A Bathing Ape, ASICS, PUMA, and Vans, to name a few. Now, rumour has that it'll be linking up with none other than adidas very soon for the JJJJound x adidas Samba collection - and here's absolutely everything that we know so far.
Images courtesy of @thrift2.000, the alleged JJJJound Sambas come in two extremely different colour options. The first pair boasts a slick "Black" leather construction with contrast Three Stripe branding, while the second opts for a "Beige" shaggy suede outfit that's as premium as it gets. Both pairs sit on top of gum rubber midsoles, and are decorated with JJJJound branding around the heel.
Even though the Samba is over 70 years old, it's still one of the most sought-after sneakers of all time. In fact, thanks to icons like Emily Oberg, Pharrell Williams, and Wales Bonner, hype surrounding the vintage model is now at an all-time high.
Not much else is known about the JJJJound x adidas Samba collaboration at this moment in time, but The Edit LDN will be here to keep you updated as soon as more info comes through.
