Teddy Santis just never seems to take a break. After taking to Instagram to reveal an 860v2 collaboration last month, it looks like the Queens-born fashion icon now has his sights set on another New Balance model, as we get up close and personal with the Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 1906R. Regarded as one of the most popular silhouettes of 2023, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
Images courtesy of Redditor z33ma, the alleged ALD 1906R bears a striking resemblance to the thisisneverthat pair from last September. Totally embracing its retro roots, it works on top of a creamy white mesh base and is overlaid by silver metallic leather panels. Minty hues make their way throughout the upper of the shoe, and this is beautifully contrasted by forest green tones that can be found on the "N" logo, sockliner, and heel counter around the back.
Underfoot you'll find a chunky ABZORB midsole that's as comfortable as it gets, and co-branded detailing is finely stamped across the tongue and printed on the insole. To round it all off, the sneaker also comes with an exclusive Aime Leon Dore dustbag that's made for all the Santis stans out there.
Not much else is known about the Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 1906R at this moment in time, so make sure you keep it locked at The Edit LDN to find out more as more details come through.
