The “Red October” colour-way features an all-red upper, including the midsole, outsole, and even the Swoosh logo, making it stand out in a bold and striking manner. The release of the Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” was surrounded by a lot of uncertainty and speculation. Fans eagerly await- ed news of its launch, but no official release date was announced by Nike. As anticipation grew, rumours circulated that Kanye West had parted ways with Nike and was working with Adidas instead. Despite the uncertainty, Nike surprisingly released the Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” on February 9, 2014, without any prior announcement or promotion. The shoes were made available on Nike’s online store and sold out within minutes, causing a massive online frenzy.
