Serena Williams is Working on Her Own Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2

Serena Williams is certainly no stranger when it comes to ultra-hyped sneakers. Back in 2018, the tennis superstar worked closely with the late Virgil Abloh for an Air Max 97 and a Blazer Mid. Now, she has established the Serena Williams Design Crew (or SWDC, for short) and paving her own way in the trainer industry with the upcoming

Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2.

Images courtesy of Gc911, this Dunk Low Disrupt 2 features an all-leather construction that looks and feels premium. Working on top of a crisp white base, a Nike Swoosh is stitched across the lateral and medial side panels, while wood grain-like overlays wrap around the front and back in orange and blue hues, respectively.

A teal rubber panel embraces the heel, where you'll also find an oversized pull tab that offers a seriously deconstructed aesthetic. The trainer is then finished off with a pinstriped tongue that's decorated with a pastel pink "Nike" tab, finalising the design.

Set to drop on August 31st, the Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 will be the first of many shoes designed by tennis legend and her talented team. Let us know what you think of this upcoming collab, and in related news, the Nike Dunk Low "Be True 2023" is covered in futuristic rainbow panels.
