COMME des GARÇONS and Nike go way back. A relationship that began in 1999 (long before some of you were even born), this partnership has been around for almost three decades and continues to grow stronger and stronger by the second.
During the Japanese fashion house's Spring Summer 2024 runway at Paris, Highsnobiety went behind the scenes a caught a sneak peek of the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike ACG Mountain Fly. Marking the Rei Kawakubo label's first foray into this gorpcore silhouette, in classic CDG fashion, it was revealed in three monochromatic colour options.
Featuring a sleek knit upper that infused with water repellant properties, this collab was destined to tackle the great outdoors. A rugged toggle switch lacing system features for a utilitarian vibe, and if you look closely, you'll find that the usual "ACG" has been replaced with "CDG" to cement the collaboration even further.
Underfoot, the midsole is infused with React foam technology for unrivalled comfort and response, and it's equipped with an extra grippy rubber outsole underneath. All of this then comes packed in a special co-branded shoebox that's made for the biggest CDG fans out there.
Dropping sometime next spring, the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike ACG Mountain Fly shouldn't be missed. Keep it locked at The Edit LDN for your best chance to secure your size, and while you're here, you might as well get up close with the Social Status x Nike Mac Attack "White"!
